“Nepal Applauds India’s Chandrayaan-3 Success in Science”

Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the prime minister of Nepal, thanked Narendra Modi and the Indian Space Research Organization on the Chandrayan-3 mission’s successful moon landing on Wednesday.
“I congratulate Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and ISRO team of India on successful landing of Chandrayan-3 in the surface of the moon today and unleashing of a historic achievement in science and space technology,” the prime minister of Nepal wrote on his social media “X,” formerly known as Twitter.

Moreover, Nepal Foreign Minister NP Saud extended his greeting to India for the successful soft-landing of the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the moon.

Saud took to his social media ‘X’ and stated, “Heartiest congratulations to India for successful soft-landing of Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the moon! This is not only a moment of national pride for our Indian friends but also an important milestone in the advancement of space science and technology, which ultimately contributes to making our lives better. @DrSJaishankar @ISRO.”

As India’s third lunar mission made its way to the South Pole of the moon and became the first nation to accomplish so, people across the nation were glued to their televisions.

Temples, mosques, and gurudwaras all performed special prayers for the mission’s success, which is essential for ISRO’s upcoming interplanetary endeavors. Students from all over the country watched the Automatic Landing Sequence (ALS) and history being created earlier in the United States (US), when the Chandrayaan-3 mission’s soft landing on the moon was aired live on the ISRO website. Additionally, sweets were given out at the Indian Embassy as Chandrayaan-3 made a successful landing on the moon. As the Chandrayaan-3 successfully completed its mission, the Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C., hosted a special screening of the spacecraft.
